I thought Capcom had offed themselves with the last two or three games I had purchased from them and then it happened they released a game that returns them back to being thought of as a good developer or a company with good departments of development because it is good...that is all

The new resident evil is a consolidation of all of the survival horror games that came after RE and is more focused because of the amount of time that has passed in generations of games and things that are no longer acceptable are gone and a lot of things that the derivatives of the original wallowed in are now included. I don't think that ratings really matter but I do thing that it is worth purchasing even though I am only 3 hours into the game.
